About the book
Every Mind Matters is the flagship publication of the Rotarians For Autism movement, a global Rotary-led initiative spanning India, Sri Lanka, Australia and the United States. The comic weaves together short, illustrated chapters on understanding autism, recognising early signs, supporting families, building inclusive classrooms and workplaces, sensory awareness, and looking after mental health for everyone, neurodivergent and neurotypical alike.
It is designed to be read by children, teenagers, parents, teachers, club members and friends. Use it at school awareness drives, Rotary and Rotaract meetings, family reading evenings, or simply on a quiet afternoon. It is, and will always remain, free to read and share.
Portions of this publication, including selected illustrations, layout elements and narrative drafts, were created with the assistance of generative artificial intelligence tools, and then reviewed, edited and curated by human volunteers of the Rotarians For Autism movement. AI was used as a creative aid; editorial responsibility, factual review and final approval rest entirely with the human team. No personal data of any individual was used to train or prompt the AI systems involved.
